Basic Purpose of Pallet Repacker: Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with reducing inventory shrink and improving warehouse organization.
Evaluate damaged product for disposition (repack for sale, salvage, dump). Repack damaged product determined to be saleable.
Record proper information on repackaged product (lot #, date, etc.) whether for sale or salvage.
Properly record all dumped product.
Assist with tracking of dated products to minimize product lost due to date issues.
Keep work area clean and organized.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED. Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Ability to work independently.
Safely operate electric pallet jack.
Good communication skills – written and oral.
Working knowledge of Excel.
Warehouse experience/foodservice product & processes knowledge preferred.
Willing and able to work weekends and holidays on a rotational basis.
Must be dependable.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in a multi-temperature environment.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law (for example: state minimum wage thresholds). The expected base rate for this role is between $22 and $25. This role may also receive overtime compensation and shift differential where applicable.
